A red squirrel

IMG_0686Most squirrels (heidy) in Montreal are Eastern Gray Squirrels. They are very tall and, well… gray. Red squirrels have become quite rare but today I managed to spot one! Read more about different species of squirrels here.

Blinkenlights in Toronto

image Toronto is currently hosting an instance of the project Blinkenlights, originally developed by German Chaos Computer Club. The current project Stereoscope is hosted in the city hall, which –with its two towers– gives it some very unique characteristics.

Fanta Framboise Bleue

Fanta Canada now has a new flavour: Framboise Bleue. Not “too good to be true” but rather “too blue to be good” (puke)
