What do I offer?
I offer a strong background in Java-related and AspectJ-related technology. I have been the chief maintainer of Soot, the de-facto standard in Java-based program analysis, for three years. I am familiar with all sorts of Java-based program analysis and compilation techniques. I am also a committer to the AspectBench Compiler (abc).
I am also a strong team worker. In the past, I have supervised Master Students and I have successfully managed several research projects that involved international non-collocated teams.
I have won several research awards, including the ACM Student Research Competition and a SIGSOFT best-paper award. See my publications page for details.
My past employers include IBM UK and Microsoft Germany.

I am planning to graduate in the first half of 2009 and I am currently looking for interesting and challenging positions in both academia and industry. I prefer jobs that allow me to be creative and develop my own ideas. Further, I prefer positions in English and German speaking countries in Europe.
